Commission proposes for Council to finalise Laos and Cambodia accession protocol to EU/ASEAN agreement so as to sign on 28 July in Bangkok

Brussels, 07/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is calling on the Council to finalise accession protocols for Laos and Cambodia to the EU/ASEAN co-operation agreement. This decision allows for the signature to protocols during the post ministerial conference with the ASEAN countries taking place on 28 July in Bangkok (Thailand).
