ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) hotels

Britain's WHITBREAD has announced the creation of a joint-venture with its rival PUNCH TAVERNS to launch some fifty hotels under the sign "Travel Inn" near its pubs. The two companies will invest in total over 129 million euro in the new company.
