EIB grants a loan for the industrial reconstruction and a global loan the SMEs, for a total of EUR 125 million

Luxembourg, 04/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank granted two loans to Turkey for a total of EUR 125 million. Concerning:

  • A loan of EUR 75 million for the reconstruction or the rehabilitation of industrial installations affected by the earthquake in August 1999. This financing is granted to Turkey, which will onlend the funds to three Turkish banks: TSKB (Industrial Development Bank of Turkey), SYKB (Industrial Development Bank) and Vakifbank.
