The Dutch group KPN has broken off negotiations with the Slovak authorities for the purchase of SLOVAK TELKOM. The Austrian TELEKOM AUSTRIA having already dropped out in May, the field is now clear for DEUTSCHE TELEKOM, the only remaining candidate. See EI of 15 and 16 May.
