Commission opens in-depth investigation into acquisition of Perstorp by Industri Kapital, which raises serious doubts

Brussels, 04/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has opened an in-depth investigation into a notified planned concentration: the acquisition by the group Industri Kapital of the Swedish firm Perstorp AB, specialised in chemical products and flooring. Industri Kapital manages and controls several private investment funds which in turn supervise a certain number of companies, including Neste Chimicals Oy, Finnish chemicals company..
