ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) energy

EDF -ELECTRICITE DE FRANCE and GDF - GAZ DE FRANCE signed with the Polish Treasury ministry a contract for the acquisition of 45% of the capital in the electricity and heat producing company ZECW - SPOL ELECTROCIEPLOWNI WYBRZEZE for EUR 62 million. The two associates have undertaken to invest EUR 163 million in the company over seven years. EDF will hold 35% of the capital and GDF 10% of the company.
