ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) electronics

The American microprocessor producer INTEL announced an investment of USD 2 billion by 2004 aimed at enlarging its Leixlip factory, close to Dublin. This investment will increase to some USD 4.5 billion by 2003 the cumulated total invested by the group in Ireland.
