Further authorisation for French system of support to live shows and theatre

Brussels, 31/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised the rise in special taxes on live shows and concerts notified by France, considering that it complies with European State aid regulations. In October 1999, the European executive had already approved the French system for supporting variety shows and private theatres.
