France's SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC has taken a 20% stake in INFRA+ (30 million euro turnover in 1999 with 80 employees and subsidiaries in Brazil, Italy and Spain), specialised in the manufacture of cables allowing for the transmission of "voices, data and images". The group intends making a simplified bid for all the capital at 60.5 euro a share. In addition, SOULE CONSTRUCTION ELECTRIQUE has just sold to SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC its subsidiary BARDIN, specialised in fault detectors for medium voltage...
