RBOS - ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND has sold the fund management company GARTMORE to the American firm NATIONWIDE MUTUAL ($115 bn under management with 31,000 employees) for £1.03 bn. With a workforce of 940 and £53.1 bn under management, GARTMORE is Britain's number five funds manager.
