According to the Swedish economic daily Dagens Industrii, France's RENAULT and Sweden's VOLVO are considering merging their heavy goods activities. According to the daily, RENAULT could take a 15 or even 30% stake in the Swedish manufacturer, which, if it opted for 30%, would make of the French group its largest shareholder. RENAULT V.I./MACK has a turnover of 6.51 bn euro, and VOLVO TRUCKS 8.45 bn euro.
