The Russian company GAZPROM has asked the Kremlin for authorisation to sell 14.5% of its capital on the American market during the second quarter of this year. The sale is said to be worth USD 3.3 billion. The Russian Government presently owns 38.4% of the company, which provides around 30% of the gas consumed in Europe.
