The American group MONSANTO (life sciences) has sold its sweeteners branch ("NutraSweet" and "Canderel") to TABLETOP ACQUISITION CORP, a consortium of industrial investors that includes PEGASUS CAPITAL ADVISORS and MSD CAPITAL. The sale price was USD 570 million.
