HAMON, Belgian specialist in heat exchange and air pollution clean-up, has acquired 64% of the German family firm ROTHEMÜHLE (estimated sales of EUR 52 million in 1999), specialised in the design and manufacture of rotary air heaters and smoke treatment systems. Under this operation, HAMON RESEARCH COTTRELL, the German subsidiary of HAMON, will be absorbed by ROTHEMÜHLE, which will form a new group called HAMON ROTHEMÜHLE COTTRELL, with turnover of EUR 65 million and 300 employees.
