Brussels, 25/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - On Monday, the Council adopted the decision relating to the conclusion of a Euro-Mediterranean agreement establishing an association between the EU and Morocco, ratification by the different parliaments having been completed (at times with difficulty: the agreement was signed in February 1996). The agreement will take effect on the first day of the second month after conclusion, or 1 March.
