Council wants the Union to be fully prepared to play a key role when peace is concluded in the region

Brussels, 25/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - After its meeting with President Arafat (see yesterday's EUROPE, page 5) on Monday, the Council adopted the following conclusions on the Middle East peace process.
