ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) computer technology

In Belgium, IRIS, specialised in character-recognition software, has announced a dual operation. It has taken 60% control of SEASOFT (EUR 750,000 in 1999), with an option on the remainder of the shares and bought IT-VISION, specialised in the design and architecture of intelligent data storage systems. IRIS provided no information over the cost of the operations.
