Launch of MEP Internet group

Brussels, 18/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - An inaugural ceremony will be held at Parliament on Wednesday in Strasbourg for the launch of the E-PING! Initiative, the Internet group of Members of the European Parliament. E-PING! is a discussion forum on all issues related to the information society and is meant to create a bridge between Members of the EP, the Internet industry, interest groups and any other parties interested in participating in debate.
