Brussels, 18/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - The visit by the European Commission president to Zagreb, at the end of last week, was essentially significant from a political point of view. Above all, by meeting the future Prime Minister Ivica Racan, the winner of the elections, Romano Prodi hoped to mark the opening of a new era in relations between EU and Croatia.
