European Parliament calls for European action plan to combat pay and pensions gap between women and men in EU

On Wednesday 11 March, the European Parliament adopted in its entirety by a large majority (458 votes in favour, 72 against, 98 abstentions) the draft report by Irena Joveva (Renew Europe, Slovenian) and Mirosława Nykiel (EPP, Polish) calling for an action plan to combat the pay and pension gap between women and men in the European Union (see EUROPE B13825A14).
