10/10/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 9 October, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) launched the fifth version of its Innovative Air Mobility Hub (see EUROPE 13454/32). This version incorporates a number of new features, in particular the ‘Drone Rule Navigator’, which is designed to help drone operators understand the applicable regulations and determine the category of their operation. It also introduces a guide for European and national political players, emphasising the central and collaborative role that cities play in urban air mobility, and the ‘eSORA’ tool, which enables UAS operators to design their operations and compile all the evidence needed to obtain an operational authorisation. Although the eSORA tool will only be accessible to Member States and members of the platform's working group, EASA plans to gradually open up access to all UAS operators in the near future. (AD)
