The European Commission for Democracy through Law, known as the Venice Commission, will be celebrating the 35th anniversary of its work advising countries on constitutional and legislative reform at a ceremony in Venice’s Palazzo Ducale on Saturday 11 October.
The event, which will be attended by the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, will open with a welcome speech by the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset.
