10/10/25 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission and Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Digital Development and Transport held the second high-level dialogue on transport, co-chaired by Minister Rashad Nabiyev and Director General Magda Kopczyńska, on Thursday 9 October. They discussed regional connectivity, in particular Azerbaijan’s strategic role as a bridge between Central Asia and Europe and its growing importance in promoting inter-regional cooperation and trade. The two parties reaffirmed their commitment to deepening their cooperation, particularly in the fields of digitisation and aviation. The Commission and the Azerbaijani ministry expressed their intention to continue their partnership in a spirit of cooperation, with the shared ambition of strengthening connectivity, exploring new areas of collaboration and promoting greener and smarter transport.
