MEPs want robust withdrawal clause in tariff concessions made to Washington

Members of the European Parliament’s Committee on Trade (INTA) held an exchange of views on trade relations with the United States, on Wednesday 24 September. In particular, they looked at the two proposals for regulations to remove tariffs on a number of US products (see EUROPE B13697A4). For the majority of the Committee’s members, it is crucial to include a sunset clause in these texts.
