Gas transit agreement via Ukraine terminated, Robert Fico raises possibility of importing gas from Azerbaijan

Following his second meeting with EU Commissioner for Energy Dan Jørgensen on Monday 3 February, on the sidelines of the informal ‘retreat’ of EU leaders(see other news), Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said that his country was working with the European Commission on an option to import gas from Azerbaijan.
