European Commission and Switzerland announce an agreement on modernisation and deepening of bilateral relations

On Friday 20 December in Bern, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the President of the Swiss Confederation, Viola Amherd, announced the completion of negotiations on a broad package of agreements aimed at deepening and broadening relations between the EU and Switzerland.
