20/12/24 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 20 December, the European Commission published an implementing regulation extending its anti-dumping duty on imports of certain seamless pipes and tubes of iron or non-alloy steel originating in Russia. The rate remains the same: it varies from 24.1% to 35.8% of the net price at the border, depending on the company. In 2023, the European Steel Tube Association called for a review investigation with a view to the expiry of the measures. The European Commission concluded that ending the anti-dumping duty would cause injury to European producers and therefore extended the measure for a further five years.
