27/09/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 24 September, the European Commission adopted two delegated acts approving the unilateral extension by Austria and the Netherlands of the EU Emissions Trading System (‘ETS 2’ - see EUROPE B13169A33) to additional sectors, in accordance with Article 30j of Directive 2003/87/EC, which governs the European carbon market.
