On Wednesday 25 September, six industry associations for gas distribution, transport, import terminals and storage (CEDEC, ENTSOG, Eurogas, GD4S, GEODE and GIE) launched an appeal to interested stakeholders to submit new or updated information on their projects for inclusion in the next update of the common Hydrogen Infrastructure Map.
Launched in December 2022, in cooperation with the European Hydrogen Backbone Initiative, this interactive map visualising hydrogen-related projects for the years 2030, 2040 and 2050 in Europe (see EUROPE 13295/11) has been developed from a bottom-up collection of data relating to relevant infrastructure projects, including those relating to demand and production.
The map currently includes 500 projects and is updated twice a year, in the second and fourth quarters.
Project promoters wishing to include new information have until 16 October to do so.
