13/05/2024 (Agence Europe) – The European Commissioner for Cohesion, Elisa Ferreira, is to take part in a meeting in Prague on Tuesday 14 May with the ministers responsible for EU cohesion policy, to discuss the future of the policy. The meeting is being organised under the Czech Presidency of the Visegrád Group. At the invitation of the Czech Deputy Prime Minister, Ivan Bartós, the ministers responsible for cohesion policy from Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia will meet to discuss the future of this policy after 2027. At this meeting, Commissioner Ferreira will share her thoughts on the subject. The ministers will adopt a joint declaration on the future of cohesion policy. (LC)
