Council of the EU. ‘Agriculture and Fisheries’ Council. *Agriculture: -'Green architecture' in the post-2020 Common Agricultural Policy (reinforced cross-compliance, ecological programmes and agri-environmental measures). - Discussion on the recommendations of the Working Group on Rural Africa (strengthening the rural sector in Africa and optimising the EU's role in development and job creation) for the Third African Union/EU Ministerial Conference (Rome, 21/06). - Commission presentation on the situation in agricultural markets (sugar, pork and beef) and emergency measures related to Brexit. - Other: request for an action plan to combat deforestation and forest degradation; renewable energies and development of the use of biofuels to reduce greenhouse gas emissions; results of the high-level conference on agricultural research (Bucharest, 5/04). - During the meeting: discussion on the impact on the breeding of large carnivores and other species.
