Bulgaria and Netherlands in court over broadband directive

25/01/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 25 January, the European Commission took Bulgaria and the Netherlands to the European Court of Justice for delayed transposition of the directive on reducing broadband costs (Directive 2014/61/EU). At the same time, it also announced that it intended to close proceedings against Austria and Luxembourg, which have now notified the complete transposition of the same directive.
