Assembly calls for political dialogue and continuation of peace process and proposes tripartite forum within it with members of Knesset and of Palestinian Legislative Council

Strasbourg, 12/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - In its unanimous adoption, on Tuesday, of the report by Russian member Mikhail Margelov (European Democratic Group) on the situation in the Middle East, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has taken note of the results of the recent Palestinian elections and launched an appeal in favour of political dialogue and the continuation of the peace process.
