ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) privatisation

- Germany: On Friday the Bundestag adopted a law allowing the partial privatisation of air traffic control company DFS - DEUTSCHE FLUGSICHERUNG. The German government intends to privatise 74.9% of DFS capital by the end of the year or early 2007. DFS currently employs 5,300 air traffic controllers and has an annual turnover of one billion euro.
