12/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Audiovisual Observatory has published a report on 'Broadcasters' Obligations to Invest in Cinematographic Production', a special report looking at ways that state obliges public and big private broadcasters to invest in the production of films for the cinema. The results of the study are presented in the form of 25 country descriptions and a concluding analysis. The European Audiovisual Observatory has also published a report on 'Television in the Russian Federation: Organisational Structure, Programme Production and Audience'. The report was prepared by Internews Russia, a recognised organisation specialising in the analysis of the media in Russia and journalist training. The report provides a comprehensive and up-to-date description of recent changes to television in Russia, describing the institutional framework, organisational structure and the television programming market.
