12/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI), which is presided by Stefano Silvestri and whose director is Gianni Bonvicini, published its new online review Affari Internazionali, led by Enrico Sassoon (http://www.affarinternazionali.it ) on 6 April, in order to "relaunch the national and international debate on Italy's foreign policy choices". The first edition, which opens with an editorial by Stefano Silvestri on the negligible role played by foreign policy in the campaign for the Italian general elections of 9 and 10 April, includes articles by Tommaso Padoa-Schioppa (former member of the board of the European Central Bank) on the relaunch of Europe, Paolo Guerrieri on the energy challenge, and Roberto Aliboni on future scenarios in Palestine.
