European Transport Workers Federation does not want revision of ground handling directive

Brussels, 12/04/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Transport Workers Federation (EFT) does not want a revision of the 1996 ground handling directive and said so to Transport Commissioner Jacques Barrot on 6 April, during the course of a two-day consultation meeting organised by the Commissioner with eleven air sector partners, representing airline companies, airports and workers, to discuss EU airport policy (see EUROPE 9171).
