British company AMEC (annual turnover around 5 billion pounds sterling, 44,000 employees) has acquired, for 20.5 million euro, ATM, a French company specialising in nuclear power station maintenance (turnover of 41 million euro in 2005, 620 employees) from PEROUE SPIE CAPITAL, in which it has a 49% shareholding.
