11/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - Barbara Schennach is the new director of the Wirtschafskammer Österreich (WKÖ) in Brussels, to replace Stefan Pistauer who is to head the Chamber's office in South Africa. Barbara Schennach, who has been deputy director of the WKÖ since March 2003, defended the Chamber's position with European institutions in particular on questions such as financial services, tax policy and trade policy, a press release states.
