Fourth World European Committee calls on Heads of State to keep eradication of poverty and social exclusion at core of revised Lisbon strategy

Brussels, 11/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - In a letter addressed to the Heads of State and Government of the EU and to President Barroso, the Fourth World European Committee (the EP Intergroup) asks to review their approach to the Lisbon Strategy by: - confirming the EU's commitment to social inclusion as a priority objective of the Lisbon Agenda; - strengthening the open method of coordination on inclusion and guaranteeing that National Action Plans are maintained in order to coordinate policies...
