Brussels, 20/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - The President of the (French-speaking) Belgian Parti Socialiste, Elio DI Rupo, announced on Wednesday, as per our indication, that his Party (the largest political force in Wallonia and part of the coalition government led by Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt) will demand that the vote in the Belgian Parliament on ratification of the Accession Treaty be linked to a "firm declaration" by which the Belgian government will commit to "actively" supporting the...
