Joschka Fischer opens academic year

Bruges, 20/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - The German Minister for Foreign Affairs will give the opening speech for the 54th academic year of the College of Europe, in Bruges on 1 December. The session will be chaired by former Belgian Prime Minister, Jean-Luc Dehaene, Chairman of the College's Executive Committee, and Rector Paul Demaret will speak about the Patron of Promotion for 2003-2004, the philosopher John Locke.
