17/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Council adopted without debate on Monday a decision on amending the agreement of June 2002 between the Community and Switzerland on farm products. The changes allow measures to be updated for combating bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BZE) in order to include it in Community and Swiss legislation mainly regarding the trade in live animals, or of animal sperm, ovules and embryos of the bovine species.
