Liberals criticise the attitudes displayed by certain ministers and defend the draft Constitutional Treaty

Amsterdam, 17/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - In Amsterdam on 14 November, the congress of European Liberals adopted an emergency resolution calling for the conclusion of the 'constitutional negotiations' before the European elections. In the resolution, the Liberals confirm their support for measures (1) extending qualified majority voting and EP codecision, (2) introducing structured cooperation for defence, (3) establishing a European Foreign Ministry, and (4) introducing 'bridging clauses'....
