Silvio Berlusconi urges for European regulations to be relaxed and considers European Institutions are not adapted to change

Brussels, 17/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - On the occasion of the European Day of Competitiveness organised on 14 November in Brussels by the European employers' confederation (UNICE) on the theme "freeing business potential, deliver Gulliver!" (see EUROPE of 15 November, p.12), the President of the European Council, Silvio Berlusconi (who is also a business leader), deplored the fact that companies are overwhelmed in their daily work by an excessive mass of documents produced by Europe....
