Committee of Liberties nominates four candidates for posts of European Data Protection Supervisor and Deputy

Brussels, 22/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Parliamentary Committee on liberties and citizens' rights has nominated four candidates for the posts of European Data Protection Supervisor, and Deputy Supervisor. They were chosen by the MEPs on Tuesday from among the nine people put forward by the European Commission. They are the Spaniard Joaquin Bayo Delgado (who received 56 votes at the Committee ballot), the Austrian Waltraut Kotschy (51 votes), the Dutchman Peter Johan Hustinx (50 votes),...
