22/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - The mayors of the major towns of the future Member States of the European Union have created a mini- "Strasbourg club" for protecting their interests and enhancing cooperation. In the Strasbourg declaration, adopted on this occasion, they reaffirmed their "commitment to European construction and (their) wish to weave close links between (their) towns".
