22/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - The President of the European Commission, Romano Prodi, will meet Russian Deputy Prime Minister Khristenko on Thursday evening. They will discuss preparations for the Summit between the EU and Russia, to be held in Saint Petersburg on 31 May (see EUROPE of 21 May, p.5, on issues that may complicate the Summit).
