France, Spain and Portugal call for maintaining provisions specific to ultraperipheral regions within Treaty

Brussels, 22/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - France, Spain and Portugal are calling for the maintaining within the future European Constitution of provisions specific to ultraperipheral regions. These three countries will present a joint memorandum to Commissioner Barnier on 2 June, in Martinique, during a meeting of the Conference of EU ultraperipheral regions. They adopted a joint declaration, during two days of seminars dedicated to ultraperipheral regions, on Monday and Tuesday in Brussels....
