Brussels, 26/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Competition Council has again postponed the adoption of the Community patent. Although Member States had made a commitment to reach a decision by the end of 2001, the Danish Presidency adopted "procedural conclusions" at the end of a very brief debate in Brussels on Tuesday, which indicates that the "Council will do its best to reach a political agreement in time for the European Council in Spring 2003".
The Council did not even reach an agreement...
